Ballroom Dance Classes
A 6 week Ballroom Intro Dance Course will take place at the QCPAC on Wednesday evenings starting OCTOBER 15TH, 2008. Classes will be instructed by Audrey Maycock who has worked as a private instructor, choreographer, and performer on and off the competitive arena over the last 15 years. The classes will provide an introduction into four of the most popular dancing styles: the Waltz, Swing, Quick Step, and Cha-Cha. The skill level will be for beginners to Intermediate.
YOUTH BALLROOM: (ages 10 – 18) $50 per couple (must have partner) Wednesday = 4:30 – 5:30 (1 hour)
ADULT BALLROOM: (ages 19 & older) $75 per couple (must have partner) Wednesday = 6:00 – 7:30 (90 minute) THERE ARE ONLY 10 COUPLE SLOTS AVAILABLE IN EACH CLASS!! So call and reserve your spot!
Shoe Attire: Girls – Preferably “character” shoes. Jazz or any type of dance shoe is good. Boys – Preferably a dance shoe. Jazz is fine. Or even nice church shoe. Girls & Boys: *NO TENNIS SHOES!!!!!*
Battle of the Bands
Arizona Optimist Club seeks 15 bands to perform two or three songs each to battle for cash prizes. Bands can register at www.sevoc.org Deadline for registration is July 15, 2008
Fall Camp Missoula Children's Theatre
Fall Camp October 6th-October 11th 9am-1pm The magic of Theater comes to life during our fall camp! Students will receive training in acting, dance, and music and will participate in the end of the camp showcase! Camp tuition is $100
